Microsoft says support for older versions of Internet Explorer has ended on January 12th, 2016
It’s the end of the line for Windows 8.0 and Internet Explorer 8, 9, and 10. With Microsoft pulling support on them, it’s upgrade or run the risk of being hacked. The successor “Microsoft Edge” was rolled out last year along with Microsoft’s Windows 10 update. The browser has a more streamlined user experience. Microsoft Edge has new features Internet Explorer never had, such as built-in note taking and easy sharing, the ability to work in several windows at once and integration with Microsoft’s virtual assistant, Cortana.
